I shot this image for my "12 Months 12 Themes" project this past year, for the theme "food". I've photographed eggs in the past, so I decided to shoot them again for this project, this time in a colander. I like the contrast of the round shapes with the radiating lines of the strainer. I really like the high key quality of the image...white on white has always been a favourite concept of mine. I love the fact that there are always ordinary items at home to photograph. No need to go anywhere exotic to make an interesting image.
