I was very into photographing reflections in water this year, and made several thousands of images at the cottage this summer. In addition to using a fast shutter speed to freeze the patterns in the reflections, I also used slow shutter speeds and moved the camera slightly during the exposures. That's what I did with this image. Instead of a defined shape, the result is much more impressionistic. I love the lightness of tone in this image, and the softness.
