While in an art museum in Paris, I took a break from viewing the artwork, and started photographing other visitors looking at the paintings. This piece was a large solid blue canvas, very contemporary, with no brush strokes, frame or detail. A man stood before it and his shape against the white wall and blue painting created a simple, strong graphic shape. That he wore a hat and a light toned jacket also helped. I really like the simplicity of the composition and the vibrant colour.
