Yes, I know it's silly...I couldn't help myself. This started out as a very simple photograph of the side of a rusty old truck. It was shot as a horizontal image...if you can imagine it rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise, you can see the rusty scratches and 2 holes in the metal...one round and one rectangular. I was playing with the photograph and rotated it into this vertical orientation, and immediately perceived the holes as eyes, and then the scratches as a beard. All I needed to do was add eyebrows, a nose and a mouth with the pen tool, and voila!! Altered reality! Please click
