I shot this grocery cart and shadow in a strip mall. I enjoyed the challenge of finding things to photograph in parking lots, and there was a lot to shoot. In this photograph, I love the stark black and white treatment, and how the shape of the shadow of the buggy echoes the shape of the wall shadow. Being able to continue making photographs when I was sick was very important to me.
