I was reading in the yard in Arizona late in the day. I noticed the gorgeous mottled cloud formations and luckily had my camera beside me (a habit I developed when I got sick). The areas closest to the horizon appeared bright pink from the setting sun while those higher up just had small touches of pink, and the little pink and white clumps contrasted with the deepening blue sky. I really like the gradual transition of colour difference between the top and bottom of the frame, and thought that the overall pattern and colours were soft and beautiful. I had time to shoot 2 frames and then light was gone.
