theme1 week 2: NOTHING IN FOCUS - 2016: 12 Months 12 themes
Last week's out of focus image was composed of bright colors; I wanted to see if a neutral palette would work as well for this technique. For me it is just as effective. The shapes are identifiable as a figure, there is movement, and enough tonal contrast to define all the elements. What I enjoy about having nothing in focus, especially with photographs of people, is that the images are universal as opposed to being about a specific person.
