theme 8 week 2: HIGH KEY

This image is a bit of a mindf***....actually a big mindf***. I was at the marina near my cottage, and inside the showroom there was a small pure white wooden rowboat on display. Even the bow line was white. The boat was supported on blocks and the bow was suspended about a foot off the pale blue painted concrete floor. I isolated the section of the bow and included the blue floor when composing the image. Because the lighting was so even there was no shadow cast onto the floor. To me this image is confusing and surreal and somehow the high key nature of it adds to the the bizarre mood.
