For the next 4 weeks, our theme will be "altered reality", and we will explore ways of manipulating our images to make them appear very different than the way they they looked in reality. The original photograph in this case was a detail of a contemporary building. All the lines of the features were perfectly straight. In post processing I distorted all the lines, making them irregular and wavy. The mood of the image is very different than the original. It is much more whimsical than the rigid design of the actual building. Please click
