theme 1 week 4: NOTHING IN FOCUS

Even though their fronds are spiky, the overall impression of palm trees, for me, is that they are feathery looking. The actually remind me of large feather dusters. I photographed this palm frond in my Arizona backyard, completely out of focus, along with the sky and clouds behind it. To further enhance the soft, feathery feeling, i overexposed the image to keep the colors delicate and soft. To see Simone's image, please click here.
