While waiting for my husband during another medical appointment, I found a small meadow right off a main street in Toronto. It was late autumn and the grasses in the meadow were strongly backlit by the sun. A few creative tweaks to the white balance during the ME sequence emphasized the golden grasses. I made this image just after mid day...the light was so contrasty that a "straight" photograph of this scene would have been impossible. Also some buildings on the other side of this very small area would have visible. I love that the ME feature on my camera makes it possible to shoot in any situation or lighting conditions.
