There were several new subway stations built recently in the Greater Toronto area, and I spent some time in one of them photographing the interesting architectural features. Initially I made graphic design images, but soon became fascinated with all the linear shapes and details of the structure. I began experimenting with in-camera multiple exposures and made a series of black and white images which emphasized all the strong lines and shapes. This is one of my favourites.
