
I spent some time at the Corning Glass museum in Corning NY. In addition to viewing and photographing the beautiful glass art pieces, I was drawn to the contemporary architecture of the building, and the wonderful light patterns on the floors and walls. The space was filled with soft, bright light bouncing off the curved white walls and pale concrete floors. I greatly underexposed this photograph of a shaft of sunlight on a wall and floor to increase the drama of the simple, graphic scene.
