theme 1 week 3: NEGATIVE SPACE

This man and woman were standing alone on the edge of a cliff overlooking the ocean, in La Jolla, California. It was a misty day; the ocean and sky were almost the same colour and tone, blending into each other and appeared to go on forever. In order to convey the vastness of the scene, and their isolation on the cliff, I placed the couple in a corner of the frame, surrounded by a huge amount of negative space.
