week 34

We frequently think of diptychs and triptychs being composed of groups of different images, but that isn't the only way they can be done. It is possible to use a single photograph, digitally divide it ito two or more segments, and then reassemble it onto a new canvas. That is what I did with this landscape photograph. The challenge is in deciding how many segments to create, and their sizes and shapes. In this case I made a square section in the centre, flanked by two rectangles of equal size.
