boots

I made this image during a photographic workshop; we were shooting at a children's playground and several of the participants were standing on a ledge above a splash pad. I deliberately cut off the people so that only the disembodied hiking boots would be visible, in a row, and almost floating above a pastel pink and blue space. The incongruous nature of the elements creates a surreal, humorous mood which I like.
