week 26

WEEK 26: Home, Ontario
I made this photograph around the corner from my house on the last day of November. It was snowing for the first time this season, and was coming down quite heavily. The snow had just begun to accumulate on the branches, and I was looking forward to photographing all morning as the snow got deeper. However, along with the snow, there was a lot of very gusty wind. No matter which way I pointed the camera, snow blew onto the lens. Even with a long lens hood, a small drift piled up against the glass. Also, the plastic bag I had put over the camera in an attempt to keep it dry, kept blowing off and flapping around. Very frustrated, I had to stop because I was afraid I'd wreck my camera.
