week 13

I missed photographing a very snowy winter near Toronto, where I live, and when I got back from Arizona this week, I was hoping for a heavy snowfall which would accumulate on the bare branches. That didn't happen (a fact that made everyone else thrilled, I'm sure), but I was very happy to find that there was still some snow on the ground. It was a sunny day when I stood on the deck behind my house and photographed the shadows in the snow, of several young trees in my backyard.
