Much of the time photographs are made from a standing position, shooting straight ahead at the subject. This month the challenge will be to shoot from an angle or a position that is unusual, different or unexpected. This week I was standing on a pedestrian arch scan bridge that had some canvas awnings incorporated onto the structure. Using a wide angle lens, I pointed the camera straight up, and included part of the metal bridge structure and the awning. The unusual viewpoint results in an image that, at first, can be confusing.
