I did a series of paintings this year in which I restricted my palette to two colours plus black and white. In this case I used a turquoise and a red colour, plus some black ink. I like the range of hues that I was able to create, ranging from almost neutrals to pure vibrant colour.I like the quirkiness of both the flowers and vases, and especially like the patterns I made inside the vases.
