The shapes of plastic clothes hangers are often very interesting. I placed two of them on a piece of black velvet and photographed them, being careful not to include the entire hangers, as well as being aware of the distribution and configuration of negative space between the plastic forms. In Photoshop I cropped a bit further to ensure that the lines of the hangers did not enclose any space at all. In the final result, the shapes formed by the negative space between the lines is just as important to the composition as the hangers themselves.
