Although the side entrance to this building, which is undergoing external renovations, was seedy looking and not very attractive, it had potential for making a motion pan photograph. I wanted to preserve the structure of the architectural features so I only moved the camera very slightly to create this image. The long, slim windows and door were gently softened by the motion, and the areas of rough concrete and patches of old, yellowing adhesive material took on a subtle mottled appearance which I liked.
