2020

oh yes, 2020...the year of the Pandemic! We were in Arizona for a few months and came home early in March because of Covid...and have been in the house since. A shit show in so many ways, but not bad at all for photography. Even though there was no traveling and any shooting I did was restricted to being places where there were no people around, I made a lot of photographs. Since I love doing multiple exposures, this technique was ideal for photographing in my house and creating abstracts. I also painted a lot and made a lot of multiple exposures of my paintings. That was fun, and they look very different than the originals. A very nice way to combine my 2 obsessions. After a wonderful online photography course with Valda Bailey and Doug Chinnery, I have begun to create mini projects of photographs on specific themes, accompanied by text.
