While photographing along the shores of Lake Erie this week, the wind was so fierce that the use of a tripod was impossible. The waves crashing into the pilings near the water were backlit by the early morning sun. Because I was being buffeted by the strong wind, I didn't even need to deliberately move the camera to achieve a motion pan effect.
