WEEK 29: SUN LAKES, ARIZONA
We arrived in Arizona this week, and many of the homes in our area have been decorated with beautiful lights for Christmas. I walked around the neighborhood after dark photographing the colourful lights. Using a slow shutter speed, while handholding the camera, I moved it in swoops and jiggle type motions during the exposure to create abstract light impressions. I underexposed quite a bit to prevent the bright lights from blowing out, and to keep the background areas dark. Many of the hundreds of images I made were successful, and it was difficult to choose only one for this week's project. I uploaded some of the others into the Impressions Gallery
