week 21
WEEK 21: HOME, ONTARIO.
I made this photograph the first day of this project week. I was getting out of the shower and noticed the patterns of light and shadow on the bathroom wall. This kind of thing only lasts for minutes, so I ran to get my camera and tripod. There was a picture on the wall that was interrupting the light patterns, so I removed it. What I really liked about this scene was the area of subtle light markings between the window and the more defined striped section. A digital conversion to black and white enhanced the graphic nature of the photograph.
