week 19

WEEK 19: HOME, ONTARIO
It had just stopped raining this autumn day, and the light was perfect for shooting fall colours. I drove around the area where I live searching for somewhere to photograph within my self-imposed one mile limit. I was thrilled when I found this meadow just a few blocks away, as I'm new to the area and haven't fully explored it yet. I especially enjoy photographing during this stage of autumn, when the colours have faded and many leaves have fallen. The areas of exposed branches and trunks help give structure to the composition. More images from this shoot can be found in the Seasons Gallery
