WEEK 17: HOME, ONTARIO
Its autumn and the leaves on one of our hosta plants had died and were shrivelling and curling into wonderful, sculptural shapes. I snipped a leaf and photographed it indoors. After digitally adding several layers of texture from old metal, I decided to convert the photograph to black and white to emphasize the shapes.
