VISUAL EXPRESSIONS

The portfolios in this "Visual Expressions" gallery include works made in various mediums...photography, painting, collage and digital art. Some may be comprised entirely of one medium while others are a mixed bag. Inclusion into any particular portfolio depends on whether the piece reflects the theme, regardless of how it was created.

A few words about the mediums:
Photographs:There are no "straight" photographs in this gallery. All were made by using the multiple exposure feature on my camera or by intentionally moving the camera during the exposure. Digital post processing is an integral part of the creative process.
Paintings: The paintings are made with acrylic paint and often involve other materials such as graphite, oil pastels or water soluable crayon.
Collage: These made using cut up sections of my own photographs or parts of papers that I made myself by printing on a gelli plate. Often have marks made with crayon or posca pens.
Mixed Media: can be composed of several different mediums
Digital Art: made on my iPad using Procreate, an excellent drawing app.
