week 18

In a parkette near my home, there are several picnic tables with yellow metal umbrellas with scalloped edges. The colour stood out brightly against the deep blue sky. When composing, I cropped out most of the umbrella, leaving just a bit of the curved shape. This resulted in a very simple composition of a relatively small yellow shape and the much larger blue area.
